TheGonzaFit (“we”) respects your privacy. We’re not a healthcare provider and not a HIPAA-covered entity.
What we collect.
Name, email, phone; intake/check-in data (goals, training logs, nutrition targets, steps, photos/videos you choose to share); scheduling info; payment/billing data (processed by Stripe); basic device/usage data (cookies/analytics).
How we use it.
To deliver and personalize coaching, schedule and send reminders, process payments and manage subscriptions, provide support, improve our services, and comply with law.
Payments.
All payments are processed by Stripe. We don’t store full card numbers. We keep non-sensitive billing records (amounts, dates, last 4 digits) for accounting.
Sharing.
We don’t sell your data. We share only with service providers we use to run the business (e.g., Stripe, Calendly, Google Workspace, Loom, coaching/app platforms) under agreements consistent with this notice, or as required by law/safety.
Photos & testimonials.
Progress photos/videos are private by default. We will not use them publicly without your written consent (you can withdraw consent for future use).
Your choices.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing gonza@thegonzafit.com (we may need to verify identity). Unsubscribe from marketing emails any time; reply STOP to SMS to opt out of texts.
Retention.
Coaching records are kept while you’re a client and generally up to 3 years after your last activity. Transaction records may be retained up to 7 years for tax/legal reasons.
Security.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no method is 100% secure. Please use strong passwords and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.
International transfers.
Data may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate; we use appropriate safeguards where required.13) Disputes, governing law
We’ll try to resolve any issue informally within 30 days of notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and suitable venue is in Massachusetts courts or small-claims where appropriate. Nothing prevents you from filing in small claims court where permitted.
Children.
Services are for adults 18+ only.
